Charlene C. Corniel, 68, of North Port, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte.

Charlene was born to William and Antoinette Carlson on August 18, 1946 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Charlene was a wonderful woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Bert; her 2 daughters, Janet P. Corniel of Denver, CO and Kimberly K. Hussey of North Port, FL; a brother, Kenneth Carlson of North Dakota and 5 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Edgewater United Methodist Church, 19190 Cochran Blvd. Port Charlotte, FL 33948. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Honolulu, HI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Edgewater United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries, 19190 Cochran Blvd. Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
